In 2025, schools are running AI-led classes, parents share daily updates, and students in India use Perplexity in voice mode. ChatGPT is adding tutor workflows—“Study Together” and “Study Mode”—and Pingo AI reports 300k language learners. It’s great to see schools in India having their students learn with Perplexity as a tutor. Our founding mission was to make the world’s knowledge accessible, and I’m glad it’s having its impact. Here’s one where students in Telangana are using the voice mode to ask questions back and forth. https://t.co/C9JPWl4S7w
Tomorrow wraps up the first 5 months of my kids attending the school where all of the learning is powered by AI (and no teachers). I get asked almost every day what the experience is like. In short: it's truly wild. Here's what it's like overall: https://t.co/i5sdovrI9U
AI will be the greatest engine of social mobility in our lifetime. My parents barely graduated high school and worked minimum wage jobs their whole lives. Many of my successful friends had parents who were programmers, founders or professionals. We don’t chose our parents but starting ahead is clearly an advantage. Now with AI, every curious kid has someone to answer their questions and have interesting spontaneous conversations with. I couldn’t think of anything more beautiful for them.
